Are You Ready?

I love the fruits of summer, don't you? Lately I've been enjoying the mouth-watering fruits of the season—peaches, nectarines, watermelons—they are all delicious. It's only a matter of time, though, before they give way to the pumpkins and gourds of autumn.
These are good too, in their own way, but they don't compare to the juicy sweet flavours of summer.
Have you ever bitten into a peach that was hard and crunchy? Or a nectarine that was way too mushy? Neither one is a pleasant experience. When a fruit is ripe and ready, it makes all the difference.
In 2 Timothy 4:2, Paul tells us to, "Be ready in season and out of season." Ready for what, you ask? Ready to explain, ready to encourage, ready to convince, rebuke, and exhort . . . we need to be ready to share the gospel.
Are you ready to share God's love with others?
